Bomb Racing was founded from a genuine passion for 1/28 scale RC racing and a desire to help grow the hobby for racers of all levels.

After several years racing Kyosho Mini-Z cars at a local club in Letchworth, Sam and Nick discovered a new generation of 1/28 scale RC chassis offering higher levels of adjustment, performance and tuning potential. While the Kyosho platform remains one of the best entry points into the hobby, these newer race-focused chassis opened the door to a faster and more competitive side of 1/28 racing.

That passion led to the creation of Bomb Racing Club, a weekly Monday race night initially in Letchworth and now moved to a permanent location based in Hertford, co-run by Sam and Nick on a full-size RCP track. The club continues to focus on competitive but welcoming racing, helping both experienced racers and newcomers enjoy the hobby in a friendly and supportive environment.

Building on years of hands-on racing experience, Bomb Racing Shop was launched to supply professional-grade 1/28 racing products to the UK racing community. Today, the shop is independently owned and operated by Sam, with a strong focus on expert product knowledge, customer support and stocking the latest high-performance racing equipment.

Bomb Racing Shop works closely with leading brands across the hobby. For newcomers and younger racers entering 1/28 RC, Bomb Racing shop continues to support and promote the Kyosho Mini-Z platform as one of the best ways to get started in RC racing.
